Oil Finding Paste- Ensure oil free surface on dip gauge. Apply paste evenly on surface 8-10 cms on either side of the anticipated petroleum level. Introduce gauge slowly into the tank till the lower end touches the tank bottom. Withdraw gauge immediately. Observe for sharp RED horizontal demarcation [on blue back -ground] representing petroleum level.
Wipe off container cap after removing paste and replace cap securely. Wipe off paste on dip gauge after test.
