Swastik Pipe Wrapping Tape is a hot applied bituminous tape for corrosion protection as per IS: 10221, it is specially formulated corrosion resistant bitumen compound provides high penetration and high resistance to ageing. Swastik Pipe Wrapping Tape comprises of high tensile strength thermo-fusible HMHDPE film on both the sides. 2 mm Pipe Wrapping Tape is five layer without fiber glass inner core, whereas, 3 / 4 mm thick Pipe Wrapping Tape is seven layer tape with two inner cores; top core is of tough 45 gsm fiber glass and the bottom core is of 15 micron high tensile strength HMHDPE.   APPLICATION : Coating material for drinking water pipelines, fire fighting pipelines, raw water pipelines in thermal plants etc. Applied on buried and immersed pipes, fittings and appurtenances to protect them from high corrosive environment   ADVANTAGES : Coating material for drinking water pipelines, fire fighting pipelines, raw water pipelines in thermal plants etc. Applied on buried and immersed pipes, fittings and appurtenances to protect them from high corrosive environment Application   APPLICATION METHODLOGY : Remove dust, flakes, oil, grease or other loose foreign particles by blasting, wire brush or compressed air. Leave 200 mm from pipe ends for welding joints. Coat and wrap such left over part of pipe at site after welding and hydro testing. Apply Primer on cleaned surface at 0.30 L/m2 to get DFT of 30 microns. • Allow the primed surface to touch dry, which may take 5 - 15 minutes. show the flame of butane gas torch on to the surfaces till it becomes glossy-smooth. Apply SWASTIK PIPE WRAPPING TAPE on the primed surface. Provide overlap of 25 mm between two adjoining layers.  Wrap spirally and apply sufficient tension to ensure good adhesion and avoid pockets and bridging to meet holiday detection requirement. Tape joint shall face downward on outside of lap joint. Complete necessary welding and testing of the joint before coating. Recommend to apply at the time of pipe erection and lowering inside trenches to avoid any damage.   HEALTH AND SAFETY : Use goggles and hand gloves during application  Clean hands with warm water after application.   STORAGE : Keep under shed away from heat. Do not stack more than three rolls in one column.

Bitumen Based Flashing Tapes / Strip are cold applied self- adhesive tapes with one side bitumen adhesive protected by release film and other side is re-enforced aluminium foil. Aluminium surfaced self adhesive sealing bitumen strip which bonds instantly to provide a permanent watertight seal in all climates. Flashing tape is easily applied using hand pressure and steam roller, with no requirement for special equipment for cutting, forming or fixing.   FEATURES : Superior high temperature performance characteristics Quick and easy application Bonds to a wide range of building materials Cost effective method of flashing, sealing and repair Provides lasting protection in all climates Safe in application, storage and transport   USAGE : Flash Tape is used for flashing, sealing and repair against ingress of water for mobile homes, small commercial roofs, residential porches and dormers, from building, roof and gutter patching and on profile sheets. It can also be used as flashing on up stands   APPLICATION INSTRUCTION : The application temperature should be between 5°C to 55°C. Application procedure may vary slightly depending upon site condition. The general recommended guideline for the application of the self adhesive waterproofing system is as follows:   SURFACE PREPARATION : Surface must be smooth, clean, and free from oil/grease and defects. Gaps, deep hallows and depression greater than 3mm should be filled with an appropriate filler For improved adhesion on porous or uneven surfaces, apply Swastik Oil Base Primer. Using a dampened brush, apply Swastik Oil Base Primer Do not leave the Swastik Oil Base Primer for more than 24 hrs. Prime only the area which will be covered by the membrane in a particular working day Surfaces such as textured brick may require two coats, apply the second coat when the first coat has dried   METHOD OF APPLICATION : Unroll only the required length and cut the pieces to the desired shapes and size. Place the pieces of membrane on the area to be covered and check whether they match profile of the marked substrate. Peel off the release film from the self adhesive side and start unrolling the membrane and press it to the surface. Smoothen the membrane from the center to the edges with a wooden press in order to remove any entrapped air. Further more on iron roller can be used for rolling on top of the applied membrane to ensure a proper and strong adhesion of the bitumen compound with the base surface ensure a minimum of 50mm overlap.   PACKAGING : Roll Length : 10 Meter Roll Width : 50mm,100mm,150mm,200mm (2”Inch, 4”Inch, 6”Inch & 1 Meter Thickness : 1.2mm, 1.5mm.   STORAGE & SHELF LIFE : Stored under cover, out of direct sunlight and protect from extreme temperature. Swastik Bitumen Shield APPMembraneis to be unrolled over the surface with torch application (with overlaps of 10cm) and bonded to the substrate. The overlaps are to be sealed by flame torch.
