Tinfree Steel (TFS), also called Electrolytic Chromium Coated steel (ECCS) is actually a light gauge, electolytically coated chromium sheet. It is a more economic alternative to tinplate. TFS is an excellent base for organic coatings and lithography. Ideal for CAN ENDS, LOCKSEAMED CAN BODIES, NON-CONTAINER ITEMS.

Tin plates are cold rolled mild steel electrolytically coated with tin, passivated and oiled. It is furnished in a variety of tin coating, temper and finish.

ETP is a cold rolled mild steel coil or sheet, coated on both sides with tin by a continuous electrolytic operation, which when flow melted forms a tin iron layer in between the steel base and the lustrous free tin layer.
