Our Alternators are made as per Is-13364, robust in structure and sturdy in performance in both Single Phase and Three Phase type an are of Low Temperature Rise and High Efficiency in well machined Steel Casting body and Cast-Iron End Covers with proper ventilating ducts for efficient cooling. For equally spaced Pole Shoes are mounted on the body and perfectly machined to maintain uniform air gap for better efficiency.

Armature is made of Silicon Stampings Properly Keyed and Welded on a heavy duty shaft, Machined and ground on cylindrical grinding machine and dynamically balanced. Field Coils and Armatures are with best electrolytic Super Enameled Copper wire with ‘E’ class Insulations and preheated and dried in Oven after varnishing with Dr. Becks varnish in a VACUUM IMPREGNATING PLANT. Best quality heavy duty Ball Bearings with high melting point press, spark free gun metal, slip rigs, Brush holder with insulated fittings and copper brushes for efficient collection of current are used for longer life and highly efficient performance.

Engine is efficiently balanced with two balance weights boltes on Crank Shaft in high speed engine and in slow speed engine the balance weights are provided in fly wheel itself. Flywheel is statically balanced to give smooth operation and ensure long life of parts. Engines are water cooled and cooling is arranged by run through water supply or radiator or cooling tank. In Air cooled engines cooling fan is provided in the engine.

The Generating set consist of one Diesel Engine as prime mover and one Alternator as power generating source and both are coupled through self aligning rubber coupling and mounted on a robust Mild steel channel frame fitted on rubber wheels which provides the sets easy movability and acts as damper to vibration. So the set can be installed either on ground floor or on roof top with provision of shielding against rain water. Our Engines are manufactured under able guidance of well experienced Engineers with Strict Control on quality of finished product and raw material through various testing processes of each component and engine. Crank shaft and connecting rods are made of EN9 steel by drop forging process and tempered properly and then ground to close tolerances. Aluminum pistons of reputed make are used. All other Components which ever are used are made by large and reputed concern of our Country.

An unusual feature of annealed austenitic stainless steels is that the yield strength is a very low proportion of the tensile strength, typically only 40-45%. The comparable figure for a mild steel is about 65-70%. As indicated above a small amount of cold work greatly increases the yield (much more so than the tensile strength), so the yield also increases to a higher proportion of tensile.
