Machine are designed on the principle of gyratory motion generated by double eccentric weight mounted on two ends of the shaft of vertically mounted specially designed vibro motor. The screening assembly consisting of one or more set of deckscreens is mounted on a set of annularly located springs, effectively isolating the base from vibrating assembly. The double weight moving with the shafts and located at relative angular position produces three dimensional vibrations which in turn cause the material falling on the screen mesh move at a specific speed in straight to spiral direction giving controlled and effective screening. Due to the adjustability of weight and the relative angle between them it is possible to make the material move on the screen in desired path to achieve the desired retention time for effective screening before the material gets discharged from the outlet spout. During this process the particles smaller than the mesh aperture fall through the mesh and the oversize material gets discharged from the outlet spout. This process is repeated on the next mesh in case of multi deck screening.

The material to be sifted is fed into the stationary cylindrical screen by means of a screw mounted on the rotating shaft. Dahi: Fermented milk products are very popular in India and are consumed by large population. Indian Curd (Dahi) is of these products. For making this the Filtered, standardized, homogenized and pasteurized milk is cooled to 22-25°C and then culture is inoculated to milk. The inoculated milk is then packed in cups and kept for incubation 16-18 hours to incubation chamber/room. Yogurt: Yogurt is one of the most popular fermented dairy products for its wide variety of flavors and fruits that are added to it. Different forms of yogurt are available in the market like stirred, set, frozen and liquid yogurt. The flavor of yogurt irrespective of the type is the same since the main flavor compound is acetaldehyde. The fat content in yogurt may vary from 0.5 to 5% and the total solids from 9 to 20%.
