Vertical Rice Whitener is widely used in polishing of rice. Our rice cone polisher consists of an iron cylinder fitted with ready made silicon carbide abrasive cones. The cone fixed on a vertical shaft rotates either clockwise or anticlockwise. Wire screen comprising a mesh dependent on the variety of the paddy to be hulled, is fixed around the entire cone. At regular intervals the wire screen is divided into segments by adjustable rubber brakes. Pneumatic de-husker is designed to remove husk from paddy. The design has two inbuilt rubber rollers that rotate in opposite directions and the built in pressure is controlled through a pneumatic component. As the paddy is fed to the hopper, the underlying sensor activates the feed shutter that directs the paddy to the rubber rollers via the inclined feed shutter. Parboiling process involve wetting, heating, steaming and drying of paddy, result in boosting the nutritional profile and change in the texture of the rice. Paddy separator designed to separate paddy from rice, consists of a separator table and support base with drive. Separator table contain flooring sheet and zigzags compartment assembly, made from heavy gauge cold rolled steel sheets, completes with covering of separation table. The support base consists of a steel fabrication, flywheel, two support beams and guide rollers. The drive shaft running on two strong bearings carries the heavy fly wheel. Two beams that move around the centre of the drive base carry special support.
