Kaveri Rotary Belt Scraper are engineered for belts handling Calcinated materials like Clinker, Coke, Alumina and other fine powdery substances which are susceptible to thermal cracks, resulting in fine powder getting stuck between the cracks, and falling throughout the length of the conveyor, due to flappring of the belt. KAVERI Rotary Belt Scraper Consists of a special brush arrangement designed for fitment below the Head Pulley on the return side to enable the brushed off material to fall into the discharge chute. It is an established fact that excessive impact on belt surfaces due to material lump size and height of fall, damages the conveyor belt having conventional impact rollers with rubber rings/sleeves. This leads to extra maintenance effort, contributing to cost hike and reduced machine availability. Kaveri Impact Pad replaces these conventional impact idlers at the Transfer Points with an added advantage of spillage control.   Two layers fusion bonded and sandwiched together. DUST SUPPRESSION SYSTEM (WATER & WATER WITH CHEMICAL SYSTEM) Environmental Management and Pollution Control poses a major concern to all. There is a need for EFFICIENT POLLUTION CONTROL Technique, to meet the stringent norms as stipulated by the Pollution Control Board for dust control at open stock piles, conveyor transfer points, dump hopper loading points and other such dust generating locations in a bulk material handling plant. During the past decade, KAVERI has developed advanced technology for executing tailor made Dust Suppression Systems after analyzing the application and behaviour of dust particles. Kaveri Dust Suppression System suppresses dust at source before it becomes air borne and controls dust instead of collecting it. The design of the KAVERl system is based on a unique nozzle that can produce a very dense fog of 1 - 10 micron in size of water droplets that can literally blanket dust source and keep the dust particles from becoming airborne. The dual flow nozzle is an air driven device for fogging liquids by passing them through a field of high frequency sound waves. This is accomplished by compressing air stream of a specially designed converge section of the nozzle. The result is an air stream that will accelerate past the speed of sound, in the converge section. When it passes the speed of sound, a primary shock wave is generated at the mouth of the nozzle. To enhance the fogging capacity, a resonating chamber in the path of the air stream reflects the air stream back it self to amplify the primary shock wave. Once the shock wave is generated, water is delivered through annular orifices where it is sheared in relatively small droplets. These small droplets are then carried by the primary air stream in to the shock wave and exploded into thousands of micron size fog droplets. The air then escapes around the resonator chamber and carries the droplets downstream in a soft low velocity fog pattern.

kaveri is a leading manufacturer of engineered conveyor care products and has developed fundamental principles in belt sway which take a new approach in belt tracking system application kaveri belt tracking system keeps the belt in alignment with automatic continuous adjutments. in belt conveyors to counter the belt wandering i.e. Going off-center on either side, kaveri has engineered and developed a quick-acting automatic belt tracking roller system, to be mounted on the return side of belt conveyors. kaveri recommends a minimum of 2 belt tracking rollers, one each near tail and head pulley for short conveyors of less than 50 mts. And for long conveyors additional rollers every 35 - 40 mtrs.   the tracking is achieved in the horizontal plane of the belt. As the belt starts to move off-center it will contact the tapered section of the tracker roller. The shift in weight and differing peripheral rotational speed between the tapered portion of the tracker roller w.r.t the center causes the roller to pivot in the opposite direction about its central point. the extent to which the tracker roller will pivot will depend on the extent to which belt moves off center. AIR BLASTER SYSTEM is used as flow promoting aid in bulk solids handling. Air Blaster have proven most successful when compared with other flow promoting devices, especially in high temperature zone. Flow Problem of Bulk Solids Flow Problem of Bulk Solids are Arching, Bridging, Rat-holing & Funnelling.   FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLE Kaveri Air Blaster consists of an Air Vessel in which Compressed Air at 6-8 kg/cm2 pressure is stored. This full quantity of Air at this pressure is released in a fraction of second resulting in a blast, which when directed at the problematic critical zone through special nozzles, achieves the dislodging of bulk solid build-up and promotes flow   OPERATION Compressed air is fed through an air train consisting of moisture separator, filter, regulator, lubricator to the Flow Control Unit (FCU). The micro processor based sequential logic controlled (FCU) operates the individual Air Blaster in cyclic pattern. Optionally the FCU can be connected to plant PLC for blasting automation.   INSTALLATION Depending on the Equipment and location, Proper design, profile and material of Nozzle are selected. The Nozzles are mounted on the equipment so as to direct all the force of the blast to promote flow of bulk solids. In most installations, the bin / Hopper need not be emptied..
