Corrosion/Erosion and Pitting Specimens Pipe Pipe Dimensions: OD 8” with length 300mm Thickness – 25 mm Stainless Steel Corrosion/Erosion defects were placed randomly on the specimens. Some of specimens will have naturally obtained corrosions/erosions recorded depth of the corrosion indications will be based on the deepest spot within the field of corrosion. The host side of the Pipe will be covered with a “removable” cover plate.
