Volume Control Damper with high quality Galvanized Frame and Blade fixed with nylon bushes opposed blade operation linkage system outside air stream, with optional motorized actuator. Designed for use in heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems. Joints are welded and protected by aluminium spray coating to prevent rusting. Blades are coupled by toothed nylon gears which provides opposed blade operation. Hand locking quadrant is provided with clear open/ close indication and three intermediate open positions (1/4 – 1/2 – 3/4). Optional Foam gasket is sealed across the blade edges to minimize air leakage between the blades. Flanged corners are supplied with pre-drilled holes as standard for fixing to the duct. Dampers without flanges available as option for duct insertion purpose. Single skinned 3V groove blades are standard Frame size: 150mm depth and standard flange height of 32mm. Drive shaft: Electro-plated square rod of size 12mm x 12mm. Bushings: Self-lubricating nylon bushings, with option for brass bushes.
