Citronella grass is commonly known as lemon grass for its genus, which is botanically known as Cymbopogon Nardus. This grass is native to Asia and India. The Lemon Citronella Oil is used in the production of soaps, insect repellent and candles, which is also used in aroma therapy. The Lemon Citronella Oil is obtained by the steam distillation process by treating the grass in the boiler. The chemical constituents of citronella are Geraniol and Citronellol that help in the production of antiseptics and disinfectants.
