PTss-TFS is basically designed to operate on an energized Transformer’s OLTC to remove moisture and carbon particles from it. The moisture and carbon are removed by circulation of Oil through TFS which has special type of absorptive cartridges which absorb and remove moisture to less than 10 PPM in and carbon particles upto 0.3 microns from the oil. This process does not employ any heating or vacuum process of oil thereby retaining the original virgin characteristics of the oil. Process does not remove Oxidation inhibitors or fault gases. PTss-TFS will work on pre-programmed schedule or on the preset tap changes and automatically triggers itself for operation and is safe for unattended operation.
