AQURA SINGLE JET CLASS 'B' WATER METER TECHNICAL SPEC: Single jet , Velocity Type, Inferential, Super dry dial, straight reading in KLitres, Horizontal Flow, Magnetic Coupled water meter as per IS 779:94 and conforming to ISO 4064(1) Class 'B' Standard, suitable for Horizontal line connections. OPERATIONS: Single Jet is a velocity type inferential water meter. Water flows through the inlet of the body and enters the measuring chamber. The force of the water rotates the turbine. The velocity and the number of performed turns of the turbine is proportional to the volume of water passing through the meter. A drive magnet transmits the motion of the turbine to a driven magnet located in the sealed dial register. The driven magnet is connected to a gear train which translates the turbine rotation into a volume displayed on the counters in a dry dial register. Connect the meter to both Coupling- Nut ends. Keep the meter inside the box and adjust pipe ends accordingly and tighten the meter with coupling nuts with union washers kept in. Keep the box underneath the ground leaving top of Chamber atleast 4 inches above the ground level to avoid flood water entering into Chamber. Connect the Pipes with the main line to the Chamber and insert the fixing rod finally to contact Lid with Chamber.

OPERATIONS: aqura Woltman meter comprises a rotor with helical blades inserted axially in the flow. Water flows through the inlet of the body and enters the measuring chamber and rotates the horizontal axis propeller. The velocity and the number of performed turns of the propeller is proportional to the volume of water passing through the meter. A drive magnet transmits the motion of the propeller to a driven magnet located in the sealed dial register. The driven magnet is connected to a gear train which translates the turbine rotation into a volume displayed on the counters in a dry dial register. Special shape of its inlet and outlet bearing is counteracting the natural hydraulic thrust applied on the impellor and preventing any downstream pivot wear. Mechanical Water meters generally run when its turbine gets moved by any energy like water or even air passing through the water line. A normal customer pays atleast 5% of water bills for air passing through the supply line.An Air valve is a device used to save the meter from running with air when there is no water in the supply line. It is fitted at the inlet side of water meter. Flowtech's sophisticated and unique design uses a circular FAN like shape, we name it as "FLAP". Its works on the principle of differential density of air and water. The engineered "FLAP" is located at the T-shape Top. When air passes through it, it is unable to lift the FLAP hence air moves out through Escape Hole, thus blocking the air bubbles from flowing to the water meter.
