These are used for the supply of coolant on the working surface of machine tools. Coolant pumps are fitted on the chamber containing the coolant and the pump portion is immersed in the liquid. Hence no priming is required. SM1 is recommended for centre lathe, drilling, milling and light duty machine tools SM2 is recommended for turret lathe, grinding and heavy duty machine tools These pumps are suitable for all types of coolant having viscosity upto 150 centristrokes at 60°C temperature. Coolant pump is designed for continuous operation on 415 Volts, 50 Hz, 3 Phase supply and suitable for direct-on-line starting.
