There is one half round sieve mounted at the bottom of the rotor. Product is charged from the top through in feed hopper and material falls on the rotor blades. The particles are broken by a set of oscillating bars arranged in cylindrical form over a screen of suitable mesh. Process of Operation The super mixer granulator works on basically two factors to perfectly blend and mix together the granules. Firstly, spinning close to the bottom of mixing bowl under which the rapid mixer granulator spins close to the bottom of mixing bowl. Secondly the impeller in the whole mixture goes in a whirling-rising-tumbling motion that ensures a rapid and smooth distribution of all the dry parts. The big lumps that are formed during the wet mixing get broken down by a chopping tool that rotates at 1440/2880 RPM. The mixture is thereby discharged with the help of impeller that runs through the outlet. The High Shear Mixer Granulator performs dry mixing & wet granulating by basic design of the special four arm of the mixing impeller and sequences of the mixing process in the cylindrical mixing drum with rounded connection to the base plate, achieve another special effect. Separately driven multiple choppers can effectively intensify the mixing result in particular when liquid or paste components are added. The machine is HORIZANTAL TYPE & VERTICAL TYPE granulating system. The machine will be a gmp model. The machine is complete in all respects and fitted with T.E.F.C. motor. Standard reduction box and a starter. The body of the machine is "L" shaped fabricated structure and fitted with castor wheels for ease and mobility. Model 8" & 12" are vertical models whereas 6" & 10" model is horizontal model. The difference between vertical model and horizontal model is that in vertical model the oscillation is done by a gear mechanism and a vertical shaft is suspended from the top and a propeller type grinder blade moves in oscillating motion and material is pushed through the mesh to get the output of desired mesh size. In horizontal model there are diamond shaped blades horizontally fitted and driven by a gear box through gear mechanism to give oscillating motion. Hopper, the stirrers, sieves and all other parts that come in contact with the material to be granulated are made out of stainless steel. A simple and positive arrangement of holding and tensioning of the screen is provided. The arrangement is such that the screen remains stretched throughout the operation and very close and uniform gap is maintained constantly. Thus it produces better quality of granules and reduces excessive wear on both stirrer and the mesh. All the parts working on the materials being granulated can be easily and quickly dismantled for thorough cleaning without the use of spanners. Separate stirrers for dry and wet granulation are provided and they are so designed that the efficiency of granulation process is optimized in each case. Pressure granulation most often uses ring granulators. To ensure a proper course of pressure in granulation process, it is important that material is forced through holes which are set in a particular matrix. An adjustable cage consisting of set of holes is arranged in the crushing chamber. Bevcon ring granulators crush the material by the combination of impact and rolling compression. Product size is determined by the openings incorporated in the cage.The cage is so adjusted by changing the clearance between the cage and the path of grinding. Bevcon granulators are also provided with a tramp iron pockets (most of the times provided with magnets) to remove the un crushed foreign materials.
