Inclined plane (600x100mm) is made of polished hardwood board hinged at one end to a wooden base board. A 38mm plastic pulley in U-bracket is mounted on one end of the inclined plane with a thread which supports the masses suspended at one end while the other end of the thread is tied to the object under observation. The index pointer fixed to the inclined surface moves along the arc scale attached to the base board and gives the inclination angle.
