The proposals would also extend the applicability of TP provisions to cover specified domestic transactions. FB 2012 also proposes amendments to provisions relating to computation of the arm’s length price (ALP), procedural and penalty provisions relating to TP. A number of the amendments are likely to apply with retrospective effect and could therefore have an impact for prior years as well. Taxpayers would need to assess the impact of the budget proposals on their past and future transactions.
