Oscar Malaria Antigen ‘Pv/Pf’ card test is intended used for qualitative and differential detection of Pv (pLDH) and Pf (HRP-II) in human whole blood as in aid of rapid diagnosis of Malaria. It is based upon lateral flow immuno assay. Highly specific monoclonal antibodies specific to pLDH & HRP-II have been used for coating on nitro cellulose membrane and on colloidal gold conjugate in the test formulation to have better sensitivity and specificity for detection of Pv and Pf. Specimen of choice is freshly collected human whole blood and result can be obtained within 5-20 minutes.  

Oscar HIV-1& HIV-2 test is intended used for qualitative detection of antibodies (IgG/IgM/IgA) to HIV-1 and HIV-2 in human serum / plasma as in aid of HIV diagnosis. It is based upon lateral flow immuno assay and double antigen system has been used in the test formulation to have better sensitivity and specificity. Recombinant proteins GP-41 & GP-120 for HIV-1 and GP-36 for HIV-2 have been used for coating on nitro cellulose membrane and colloidal gold conjugate.  

Oscar HCV test is intended used for qualitative detection of antibodies (IgG/IgM/IgA) to HCV (Hepatitis C virus) in human serum / plasma as in aid of HCV diagnosis. It is based upon lateral flow immuno assay and double antigen system has been used in the test formulation to have better sensitivity and specificity. Recombinant proteins of HCV (Core, NS3, NS4 and NS5) have been used for coating on nitro cellulose membrane and colloidal gold conjugate. Specimen of choice is serum / plasma and result can be obtained within 5-20 minutes. Oscar HCV test is available in 20T & 50T pack. It has shelf life of 24 months from date of manufacturing if stored at 2-30⁰ C under sealed conditions. The test has excellent sensitivity (100%) and specificity (99.8%).
