Liquid Oxygen Pump is a single acting piston pump. It is used for filling in Oxygen into Cylinders upto a pressure of 155bar (kgs. cm2). We design the pumps in order to avoid the leakages. In fact, leakage must also be carefully controlled or diminished to very low helium leak rates as oxygen seems a fire hazard. While manufacturing the products, we do not compromise with the quality. The pump is designed for assembly in air separation unit that works by pumping liquid Oxygen and gasifying the same in Heat Exchangers for final filling as gas in Cylinders. How PSA oxygen generator plant works PSA oxygen generator plant is fabricated using advanced Pressure Swing Adsorption technology. As is well-known, oxygen constitutes around 20-21% of atmospheric air. PSA oxygen generator used Zeolite molecular sieves to separate the oxygen from the air. Oxygen with high purity is delivered whereas the nitrogen absorbed by the molecular sieves is directed back into the air through the exhaust pipe. Pressure swing adsorption (PSA) process is made up two vessels filled with molecular sieves and activated alumina. Compressed air is passed through one vessel at 30 degrees C and oxygen is generated as a product gas. Nitrogen is discharged as an exhaust gas back into atmosphere. When the molecular sieve bed is saturated, the process is switched to the other bed by automatic valves for oxygen generation. It is done while allowing the saturated bed to undergo regeneration by depressurization and purging to atmospheric pressure. Two vessels keep working alternately in oxygen production and regeneration allowing oxygen is available to the process. The method of generating oxygen from oxygen gas plant involves taking air from an air compressor. It has 2 vessels feeded with special grade of molecular sieves. Clean compressed air at an ambient temperature is passed through one vessel and oxygen comes out as product gas and other vessel is de pressurized to atmospheric pressure and purge with little quantity of oxygen coming out from first vessel. This regenerates molecular sieves which is used in next cycle. Thus second vessel keeps cycling alternately in oxygen production and regeneration making oxygen gas available continuously to PSA oxygen unit.
