Temper Switch is a supervisory device located on the control valves of a Fire Fighting System. Temper Switch is a device which, when connected to an alarm panel gives signals of disturbance (whether opening or closing) at the control valves of the system.
In a fire condition, sprinkler system reliability is critical. One of the major causes of sprinkler system failure occurs when control valves are accidentally left closed, rendering the fire sprinkler system inoperable. Temper switches are required to send a signal if a valve is closed.
Temper switches are used primarily to monitor the open/close position of valves in a fire sprinkler system. There are various types of valves used in fire sprinkler systems: O utside S crew and Y oke (OS&Y), B utter F ly (BFV) & P ost I ndicator V alves (PIV).
Any valve that can affect the flow of water in a fire sprinkler system must be monitored. There are a no of Temper switches are available for monitoring the open position of different types of valve, like O utside S crew and Y oke (OS&Y), P ost I ndicator B utterfly V alves (PIV) & special purpose Temper switches.

Fire Rated Glass in the event of the fire can provide an effective barrier to fire, smoke & hot gasses (integrity). Wired glass is produced by carefully embedding wire mesh or metal wires into glass.
On exposure to fire the glass fractures but is held in one piece by the wire mesh, thus maintaining integrity by preventing collapse, & the passage of smoke & flames. The use of these glasses can also act as a deterrent to would - be intruders.
In case of clear glass, it can result in fracture by minor accidents or malicious damage, thereby not acting as an effective fire barrier Fire rated wired Glass is used in buildings throughout the world when cost effective fire resistant glazing is required in windows, partitions & doors.
The strength of the wire mesh ensures that the glass breaks safely & does not allow the broken pieces to act as a sharp weapon.
The Best Choice Of Fire Resistance Rated Glazing Material
High quality glass with a flat and smooth surface.
Produced by a unique and efficient 'DUPLEX' process, this is the only one process all over the world.
World-wide most cost-effective glazing material for FIRE RESISTANCE
Applications
