The ILX69 PROFIBUS Slave module is an in-chassis PROFIBUS DPV1 Slave for CompactLogix, supporting cyclic PROFIBUS IO data and acyclic messaging. Explicit ladder logic CIP message blocks provide slave status diagnostic data and the ability for acyclic messaging.The ILX69 interface appears to the CompactLogix controller as a standard IO module allowing it to be configured via StudioRSLogix™5000. The cyclic PROFIBUS IO data can be configured in StudioRSLogix™ 5000, or configuration can be transferred from the Master to the slave module. The Ethernet interface allows for remote diagnostic and troubleshooting. Complete program examples for simple and quick start-up are available.
