With melting point of 36 oC-400oC, specific gravity at 350oC-0.890-0.910, refractive index at 300oC-1.450-1.465 and optical rotation at 350oC-360oC to -480oC (10% alc. solution). Menthol Powder has slight solubility in water, alcohol, ether, chloroform and is also freely soluble in liquid petrolatum and glacial acetic acid. We are offering dementholised peppermint oil is processed using deep freezing and centrifuging process of mentha arvensis oil and contains 30% to 56% of l-menthol as its main constituent. The other main chemical constituents of dementholised mint oil are isomenthone, neomenthol, l-menthone, l-limonene, methyl acetate, pulegone, pipretone, alpha pinene, beta pinene. Dementholised natural peppermint oil is available in two grades - terpene and terpeneless and finds application in areas including in flavoring applications of products like liquor, chewing gum. It is also used in cold -rub and helps in providing a cold soothing experience. The natural oil is extracted using steam distillation process and also has high demand in industries like pharmaceutical industry, food industry and others.

Total menthol quantity in the oil is up to 50-55% that helps in keeping it in liquid form at room temperature.
