Metallic bridge bearing are the basic type of bearings which came into existence with the commencement of bridge construction. The metallic Bearings are widely used because of their time reliability, stable performance and simplicity in design. MS Sliding Plate Bearings : Are the simplest bearing where the upper plate is attached to bottom of the girder/beam, slides over another plate. On account of very large, frictional forces involved and lack of provision for beam rotation, the use of this type of bearing is restricted. Rocker & Roller Bearing : Consist of one or more roller of steel along with a rocker arrangement which permits a longitudinal and rotational movement. Raw materials for MS bearings are tested for are IS: 2062 grade. Properties such as correct smoothness and curvature are obtained with strict attention to quality control. Each bearing is also tested for 125% of the designed capacity load. Cast/Forged steel Rocker & roller Bearings : Are similar the MS type, the only difference is the use of cast/forged steel in its manufacture. This gives it a greater load-bearing capacity than a MS bearing of the same size.

CECO's reinforced bearings are designed for use in bridge and building structures as a vertical-load-bearing component capable of providing translational movement in any direction and simultaneous rotational capacity. CECO's elastomeric bridge bearings with simple reinforcement are made up of multiple elastomer layers separated by reinforcing steel plates moulded on the actual layers, and can be manufactured in a rectangular or circular shape to meet individual engineering requirements. These products are simple, robust and corrosion free as the steel inserts are covered entirely in rubber. Easy to install, they will provide long problem-free service.

The Elastomeric Bridge Bearings, developed by us, are reinforced bearing manufactured from synthetic chloroprene rubber (CR) or natural rubber (NR). These bearings can absorb vertical loads, horizontal movements and rotations around all axes. We are one of the most prominent Govt Approved Elastomeric Bridge Bearings Manufacturers, based in India. Elastomeric bearings can absorb horizontal movements in every direction and rotational movements around every axis through elastic deformation, thereby allowing forces to be transferred safely from one component to another.

Spherical bearing, also called spherical bridge bearing spherical bearing also can be divided into three types: fixed spherical bearing, guided spherical bearing and free sliding spherical bearing. With high strengthened steel body, spherical bearing is especially designed for high vertical, horizontal and lateral loads and where large rotational structural displacements need to be accommodated.

It consists of one or more internal layers of elastomeric bonded to internal steel laminates shall be cast as single unit in a mould and vulcanised under heat & pressure, to cater for translation or rotation of the superstructure by elastic deformation. The raw elastomer used in Bearings are poly-Chloroprene. either of Brands: Neoprene WRT, Bayprene 110, skyprene B 5. &.. Denka S-40V in order to have low crystallization rate and adequate shelf life. The content of the Poly Chloroprene in the Bearing is not less than 60% and the ash content shall be less than 5%. The Steel laminates used in the Bearings shall meet the specification of IS : 2062. Techinacal Data of Bearings 10 KN is equivalent to I MT. Design load of the bearing is equivalent to 10M Pa. Shear modulus of the bearing shall be between 0.8 &. 1.2 M Pa. Ultimate compressive strength of the bearing shall be more than 60 M Pa. Dimension can also be designed as per requirement.
