Decades of proprietary ELECTRONICON experience in metallizing capacitor films and designing high-end capacitors have created our very own Know-How, for instance in special metallizing patterns, our SINECUT slitting technology and optimized winding geometries. This enables us to design AC capacitors with a high specific ratio of capacitance to volume, high AC-voltage load capacity and outstanding suitability for high rms and surge currents.

Our film capacitors use oil impregnation technology which is a homegrown technology and perfected for mass manufacture. Our film capacitors have a lot of advantages over metallized capacitors which have been listed below. 1) Higher dvdt rating, higher peak current capacity, higher insulation resistance over metallized capacitors. 2) Oil impregnation of film capacitors acts as a coolant at higher temperatures and prevents breakdown. 3) Mode of failure in film capacitors is in short circuit mode versus open circuit mode for metallized capacitors

Used for DC applications in electronic circuits like entertainment electronics, telecommunications, radios, televisions, defense equipment, etc. We offer thickness of 3.5, 4.8, 6, 8, 10 & 12 microns with widths of 7, 10, 12.5, 14, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 mm. Free margin: 1.5 mm. Resistance: ZAMPT : 3 to 4 ohms sq. and AMPT : 1 to 2 ohms sq., and can be used at 50 to 630 VDC.
