Heat Pipe is a close loop thermosyphon with the capillary structure along its inside periphery, A compatible liquid is used as a heat transfer agent to carry heat from one end to another end. The end where the heat is applied is called as evaporator end, and the other end where the cooling medium is provided is termed as a condenser end. As soon as heat is applied to the evaporator end, liquid inside vaporizes and carries latent heat of evaporation at sonic speed towards the condenser end, where cooling medium cools the vapors which in turn condenses on inside wall of the tube releasing latent heat of condensation.
