Strip seal Expansion Joint are used for bridges. It fills the gap between super structure and helps in movement of the structure without any damage and prevents the concrete structure.

Strip seals have successful performance records over several years. We use monolithic edge beam, so the stability and life of the product increases and also we use tough neoprene rubber as water barrier in the gap which has a very high life time. Basically Strip Seal system is a unique concept for effectively sealing expansion joints in bridges and structures with large movements. And we have two types in it with stud type and loop type anchorage system. The reinforced elastomeric slab joints are recommended for upto 80MM movements. The joint accommodates the movements by shear deformation of the elastomer and opening & closing of grooves at upper & lower surfaces. The maximum movement is limited with gap width.

We offer Unitary & Modular Strip Seal Expansion Joints. Unitary & Modular Strip Seal Expansion Joint Systems are mechanical devices adopted fro sealing an elongated gap formed between adjacent road slab sections by providing a continuous support fro vechicles crossing the gap while allowing the desired temperature responsive movement of the road slab sections. A single or more elastomeric neoprene rubber strips are secured to the adjacent road sections on either side of the gap through heavy duty edge beams andor centre beams under a specially designed profile. The Modular Expansion Joint has the secondary function of protecting the surrounding bridge superstructure and substructure. The strip seal is mechanically secured between the space straddling on the gap guaranteeing water tightness and also preventing ingress of debris and corrosive, which otherwise could damage the superstructure and substructure components. The planned operative movement range of the unitary joints is from 0 mm to 80 mm. Movements more than 80 mm openings (called cells).
