Width of the mounting base is also less in this case which makes this type of push action clamp more compact. Other Features of this clamp are same as in case of front base model. Horizontal latch type toggle clamps When closing the spanner, a safety hook positively locks onto the body. This prevents the inadvertent or vibration-induced release from the clamping position. To open the safety hook it is unlocked per one-hand operation. The stroke of the U-bolt latch can be adjusted within its range.

Clamps of this type hold the work piece with a downward clamping action. These clamps come with a holding capacity of up to 2500 Kgs. Various degrees of bar and handle opening angles ensures clearance in loading & unloading of work piece. Clamping arm can be solid bar, U shaped or fixed spindle as per the requirement.
