Extension Bar is a coupler interposed between the socket and the driving tool. This is used to reach inaccessible places where the driving tool cannot reach or the clearance for operation of driving tool is not available. These are of two designs - Extension Bar with two cross holes for conventional impact wrench and Extension Bar with cross hole and groove for locking pin and ring for impact wrenches with cross hole in male square drive. Extension Bar with different combination square drives and lengths can be manufactured against specific requirements. The range covers 1/4" (6.3 mm) to 2 1/2" (63 mm) square drives in different lengths.

An Extension Bar is a coupler that helps the operator to reach nuts and bolts located at inaccessible places, or where a driving tool cannot have access to sockets and/or where clearance for operations of driving tool is not available. One end of the Extension Bar is male which fits into the square drive of the socket and the other end is a female square drive where the driving tool fits in. The male and female drive of this tool are of the same size. It is available in 1/4" (6.35mm), 3/8" (9.5mm), 1/2" (12.7mm), 3/4" (19mm) and 1" (25.4mm) square drive with overall lengths ranging from 55mm to 400mm for the above square drives.

The tool has been developed for speedier tightening of threaded studs with the help of impact wrench. It is ideal for use in assembly and maintenance of engines. The range covers stud diameters M6 to M36 (Metric), ¼" to 1 ½" UNF (SAE/British) in 3/8" (10mm) to 1" (25mm) square drives. The tool has cross-hole and groove for locking pin and ring.

Extension Bar is used by the operator’s as a coupler to reach up to bolts or nuts located unapproachable area’s or where driving tool is difficult to access to the sockets or operating the driving tool in not possible.
