Conductors: The conductors, drawn from bright electrolytic grade copper, are annealed and bunched together. Insulation: Brunched conductors are insulated with specially formulated, in-house developed PVC compound with high insulation resistance values. The insulation process is carried out on model high speed extrusion lines with high accuracy, ensuring consistency in performance. Sheath: in case of multicore cables, the insulated cores are laid up to from the core assembly. The inner cores are coded for ease of identification as per National/international coding practices. The sheathing is provided with specially formulated PVC compound to facilitate not only easy in stripping but also to withstand mechanical abrasion whole in use Quality Control: High quality standards are built into every product. Right tests and checks at every stage, from raw material through manufacturing stages and finally upto the finished product ensure that cable meet National/International standards, and consumer approval. PVC insulated single core and multicore sheathed cables are manufactured as per IS 694/1990, in sizes from 0.5 sq. mm. to 50 sq. mm. in single core, and in sizes 0.5 sq. mm. to 4 sq. mm. upto 5 cores. These sizes carry ISI mark and are duly approver by FIA/TAC. The rest of the sizes generally conform to IS: 694/1990. Cable as per BS 6004/1991 and BS: 6500/1990 are also available for export market.
