LAXMI manufactures two type of coupling. Class T and Class S.M. All coupling are available in API full size and slim hole size. Coupling are made from Alloy Steel as per API specification 11-B, unless otherwise specified. The couplings and sub coupling are effectively heat treated to achieve the specified mechanical properties. Both are machined on CNC machine to ensure face of coupling are perfectly at right angle to the axis. All dimensions are kept in accordance with API specification 11-B, unless otherwise specified. Threads of couplings are cold formed by thread rolling. Rolling the thread results in a compressive stress at the root of the thread and increase strength of threads. All dimensions are kept as per Table 7 and in accordance with API specification 11-B, unless otherwise specified.
