The KNOWHEN® Saliva Fertility Monitor
The KNOWHEN® Saliva Fertility Monitor is a handheld mini-microscope that monitors a woman’s ovulation using just a single drop of saliva each morning. KNOWHEN® is the ONLY saliva-monitoring ovulation device with 98% clinically proven accuracy, and it is FDA-cleared. With KNOWHEN®, women can pinpoint the day of their ovulation with EASE and ACCURACY. In addition, they now can track their daily-test results using the personal ovulation mobile App that is provided with the product, allowing them to better plan their sexual activity to achieve their fertility goals. Nature gave women the code to their unique ovulation cycle in their saliva. Now, for the first time ever, that secret has been harnessed within the KNOWHEN® Saliva Fertility Monitor.
How to Use KNOWHEN®
01Â First thing in the morning, before brushing your teeth, eating, drinking, or smoking, apply a thick drop of saliva (without bubbles) to the glass surface.
02Â Wait for the saliva to dry. This will take about 5-15 minutes. (The saliva must be completely dry for accurate results).
03Â Replace lens housing onto the tube.
04Â Hold the monitor up to your eyes to view the image.
05Â Compare the image to the chart supplied with the kit (see right-hand side of the chart).
06 Input your results on the KNOWHEN® app.
Clear Results  Figure 1.You are not ovulating. Dots/Circles may appear but because there are no fern-like structures, it is highly unlikely that you will become pregnant.
Figure 2. You see a few fern-like crystals, either meaning you are starting to ovulate, or its the day after your ovulation.
Figure 3. You are ovulating! The fern-like consistency is incredibly clear. This is the last chance for you to get pregnant.
How it Works
FACT During ovulation, high estrogen levels raise the percentage of salt in a woman's body. In saliva, these salts take the shape of ferns under the 60x magnification of the KNOWHEN®mini-ovulation microscope. With this single drop of saliva, women can track when they are most likely to become pregnant.
