This being most vital part in the manufacture of transformers, mechanical rigidity, electrical performance and future service life being dependent upon the quality of Winding Assenbly, strict adhrance to pre-set assembly parameters is thoroughly maintained. The upper and lower Insulation Barriers, Vertical and Arial spacer blocks, oil ducts etc. are fabricated with pressboard Permawood, Ceramic blocks, Fibre Boards, Fibre Class and other electrical Grade Insulation Materials depending on insulation class of a particular equipment. Insulation Materiasls are selected depending upon Insulation Class of a particular item under Production. All Electrical and mechanical clearance in assembly are meliculously maintained as per drawing. All insulating blocks are preheated before use in assembly to reduce shrinkage in service. Assembly paremeters are selected to keep out – of – balance forces to a minium which ensures short-circuit withsland capacity of transformers.

The Tanks are fabricated with adequately thick M.S. Sheets/ Plates. Sufficient stiffeners, both vertical and horizontal are employed to impart sturdiness and righidity of construction. Vacuum withstand tests and aAir pressure Withstands are conducted on Fabricated Tanks. External surface is coated with primer and 2 coats of Synthetic Enamel Paint of shade as per order Specification. Internal surface is coated with oil and heat r4esisting paint / varnish. Fopr Dry type transformer, Louvred enclosures or enclosures with coolingfins are employed.

Cooling Radiators
Elliptical Section ERW Cooling Tubes, Pressed Steel radiators or Fin Type Cooling Radiator Panels are used for efficient cooling. Radiator selections are made to ensure strict adherence to Tempereture Rise Limits.

H. V. Cable Bar, L. V. Cable Bar , Disconnecting Chamber4 in H.V/ L.V. Bi-directional Rollers, WTI, OTI, Magnetic Oil Gauge, Buchholoz Relay, Marshalling Bar, Dial type Thermometer.

Only imported low loss, cold rolled grain oriented silicon steel laminations coated with oil & temperature resistant carlite paint are used for Core construction. Cores are assembled strictly as per drawing and adequate core clamping is employed to reduce vibration and magneto-Striction. This clamping is robust to nullify any damage to transformer, during long and rugged service life, due to above causes. Heavy duty cotton / glass tapes / bands are used for each core limb. The core assembly is thoroughly secured by means adequate sections of Core Bolts and vertical Tie Rods.
