The plates are close grain castings, accurately machined on a special Vertical Auto Lathe, Filed ground to ensure leak proof fitting rigidity an longer service. The frame plates are slotted to ensure proper fitting in the bodies. This ensures compactness of machines and avoids breakage of the bolt. Special threaded sockets are fitted in the plates to fit the cocks. These sockets can be easily replaced when the thread wears out. This gives longer life to the main plates.
