Ltd. Since 1979 the first small scale industry to get ISI recognition and also the Prestigious ' UDYOG SHREE AWARD' by the Government of India in the year 1991 for Excellence in Productivity, Quality, Innovation and Management. The Company was Established in the year 1979 under the Dynamic Leadership of Sri. Ramesh Krishnan the founder and Chairman of the RMP GROUP of Companies. With his expertise and stewardship, the RMP GROUP has grown and is still growing and has established itself as a leader and is recognized and respected in the Compressor and Pump Industries of India. Making a modest beginning in the year 1979, RMP designed and manufactured air compressors primarily for the industrial sector. The company then started the manufacture of Borewell Compressor Pumps to cater to the needs of the agricultural sector, and thus actively and effectively participated in the green revolution of the country. Today millions of such compressors are in use and form the backbone of agriculture in the country. During the next phase of its expansion, the company was able to develop custom-made compressors required for Textile mills in Coimbatore, Tirupur and Erode that forms the textile belt of this Tex city known as Manchester of South India. This was followed by another major expansion in the year 2000, when the Garage Equipment Manufacturing division was established, to meet the highly exacting demands of designing and developing Electro-mechanical Lifts, Hydraulic Lifts, Two Wheeler Lifts, Car Washers and Grease Pumps.
