Valstat Passive Discharge Brush
The passive discharge brushes are made of filaments that are very soft extremely durable. Thus, there are no chances of scratches on the web even if brush fibres are in contact with the web. These are non-powered and perform more efficiently when the electrostatic charge on the web is high. Valstat Non-Contact Web Cleaner
The Valstat® static charge eliminator makes sure that the web entering the WCS is free of static charges; thereby enabling the web to easily let go dust particles from its surface. The WCS is specially designed to break the boundary layer of air that accompanies fast moving webs. Vacuum is then used to effectively suck out loose dust from the web. The WCS can be positioned in any orientation and uses the air from the AFU to clean the web. The output web is thus relatively free of dust and contaminants. Either or both sides of the web can be cleaned, depending on the application. The AFU, housed in a compact foot mounted mild steel enclosure, provides necessary suction pressure for the WCS. The AFU comprises of a high-pressure blower with a provision to adjust the quantum of air to suit the specific job being run. A two-part, easily detachable filter strains dust particles down to 5 µm.

Valstat Contact Web Cleaner
Valstat® Contact Web Cleaner is a combination of tacky contact cleaning roller and an adhesive roll with replaceable adhesive sheets. Static charge eliminators, positioned before and after web cleaner make sure that the web entering and exiting is free of static charges. The tacky roller covering is made of a specially designed polymer. This picks up loose dust, dirt and contaminants from moving web and transfers them to a pre-sheeted adhesive roll. Static electricity accumulates on the human body, as you walk and move about. Charges can build up to high levels when the relative humidity is low or due to sudden changes in temperature. Another reason a charge build up is a phenomenon called induction. If you are in the vicinity of a material or a process that has or generates high levels of static, you can pick up significant charges. When static charges equivalent to 3000 V or more builds up within you, your body receives a shock when you touch grounded material or another object of lesser potential. Sparks can at times fly off, which can be potentially hazardous if the atmosphere has gases or liquids or materials having a low explosion level or flash point. Valflow Ink Temperature stabiliser
Studies have shown that warm or hot ink is a major dampener to pressroom economics. Warm or hot ink lowers print quality by destroying the dot structure and it causes increased use of inks and solvents. By maintaining the ink temperature, the Valflow® ITS reduces the consumption of inks and solvents and ensures repeatability in print quality. Using a temperature sensor and a solenoid valve for water flow, a temperature controller ensures that the ink temperature is kept at the set value during machine operation and also between stoppages, thereby maintaining print quality. Valflow® filters can be used on rotogravure printing, coating, and laminating lines to remove contaminants in inks, coats, and adhesives through mechanical (filter mesh) and magnetic means, thus ensuring good print or coat quality. Valflow® filters perform two major functions – circulating along with the ink or coats are contaminants from three major sources: air (that carries dust and fiber), doctor blades (a source of metallic particles), and fluids (that contain undissolved solids and pigments). Valflow® filters capture these contaminants and allow only clean fluid to pass through, thus ensuring good print or coat quality. The standard Valflow® ink filter is designed for centrifugal pumps. For diaphragm pumps, the filter has a built-in surge suppressor function.
