Acid specific gravity should be 1.250 0.005 at 27o C. Charge to be initiated after at least 4 hours of initial soaking period. Charge the batteries with constant current as indicated in the table until battery voltage reaches above 15.6 V and for a minimum of 12 hours. Full charged specific gravity should be adjusted to 1.2500.005 at 27o C. Ensure that the cell temperature never goes beyond 45oC during charging. If it goes higher reduce the rate and continue charging.
