Ring Main Unit (RMU)
SafeRing is a SF6 insulated ring main unit for the secondary distribution network. SafeRing can be supplied in a number of different configurations suitable for most switching applications in 12/24 kV distribution networks. The RMU has a completely sealed system with a stainless steel tank containing all the live parts and switching functions.A sealed steel tank with constant atmospheric conditions ensures a high level of reliability as well as personnel safety and a virtually maintenance-free system. The RMU offers a choice of either a switch fuse combination or a circuit breaker with relay for protection of the transformer. SafeRing can be supplied with an integral remote control and monitoring unit

CSS is for energy transformation in secondary distribution network from MV to LV or LV to MV systems.
These substations are typically installed in locations accessible to the public and should ensure protection for all people according to specified service conditions
All CSS components shall be type and routine tested per their relevant product standards
