Thrust Washers require a good level of Flatness and Surface finish which is achieved by using Grinding Operations. Since Axial Thrust Load is applied on these parts, they are either Through hardened or Case Hardened to withstand the load. Some Thrust Washers also have Oil Grooves on the surface to assist Lubrication. These are made out of Steel and some times in Phosphor Bronze material.

Multi formed parts made on Multi Slide Presses are made out of Spring Steel Material and then Austempered for Bainitic Microstructure.

Our Grinding shop consists of a state of art machines of all types including Vertical & Horizontal Double Disc Grinding, Fine Grinding machines using CBN wheels & Blanchard type grinding machines. In this facility we are able to produce millions of ground parts per month which require single digit micron level accuracy on Thickness control, Parallelism & Flatness.
