Perma Master Coat – WR HEAVY DUTY WATER RESISTING EPOXY COATING DESCRIPTION Perma Master Coat -WR is a two component epoxy coating system suitable for application in areas subjected to constant water spillages or expected to be submerged in water. The product is heavy duty with high mechanical, bond and abrasive strengths. PRIMARY USES The product is suitable for coating areas near washing places, bathrooms, toilets and swimming pools. This coating can be used in water tanks as well. This material is suitable for coating on floors of workshops, factories, engineering workshops and all general factory floors subjected to oil, chemical or water spillages. ADVANTAGES Perma Master Coat – WR does not require any primer. It can be straight away used on to the clean surface. Perma Master Coat – WR is moisture tolerant hence can be coated on wet surfaces as well. Perma Master Coat – WR has high gloss and smooth finish, hence suitable as use on aesthetic coating on structural steel as well as concrete. Perma Master Coat – WR can be painted on smooth surfaces such as ceramic or glazed tiles. Hence it is suitable for coating on old swimming pools tiles to bring back new look to the pools. Perma Master Coat – WR is free from solvents and hence environmentally safe. DIRECTION FOR USE Clean the surface to be coated and remove any stagnant water on the surface. Mix the Base component – A and the Reactor component – B, thoroughly.Apply the material use a soft bristled brush, evenly and use suitable roller for getting the desired final finish.It can be applied in two coats for a better appearance. The second coat is applied when the first coat has dried overnight of after an interval of eight hours. CAUTION Perma Master Coat -WR is available in limited dark colors only, as this coating is affected by UV rays. On direct exposure to sunlight the color may fade but the mechanical and chemical resistance properties of the film remain unchanged. EQUIPMENT CARE All equipment must be cleaned immediately after use with cleaning solvents. Similar Procedures should be adopted for break periods exceeding fifteen minutes. HEALTH AND SAFETY Epoxy products generally cause irritation to the skin. Use of hand gloves by the workers is advised. Perma Universal Tile Adhesive is also used for fixing tiles on difficult surfaces. Perma R-Poxy is designed for use in floor tile, wall tile and stone joints for interior as a jointing material and exterior application for joints width varying between 2 mm to 15 mm. The areas of application are for floor and wall tiles in bathroom and shower areas, kitchen counter tops, terrace and balconies, chemical plants, hospitals, refineries, garages, laboratories, warehouses, bakeries, swimming pools etc. Preparation of the area: Make sure that the tiles or the stone joint operation is taken up atleast 72 hrs after the tiles are laid. Lay the mortar on the floor and spread it evenly. Press the ceramic tiles, granite or marble to position. Mix cement : 15 kgs Fine sand : 50 kgs (1:2 by volume) Perma LTA : 2 litres Water : 2 to 3 litres This mortar is sufficient to fix 37sq.ft of tiles with a 5mm thick bed. For fixing ceramic tiles, granite or marble on existing mosaic floor � Dry mix 15kgs cement (use white cement for fixing marble) with 25kgs of fines and passing 300 micron sieve or use quartz or silica powder. Add two litres of Perma Liquid Tile Adhesive and water to desired consistency. Prime the back of the tile and the mosaic floor just before laying of the mortar with Perma Liquid Tile Adhesive mixed with neat cement (grey or white) mixed in the proportion of 1:1 by volume. Lay the smooth consistency mortar on the primed mosaic floor and spread it evenly. Press the primed tile or slab to position. Please note that the brush applied primer has a tendency to dry quickly. Hence prime the tile, granite or marble just before fixing. Tile & Floor Primer : Cement : 1kg PermaLTA : 1litre This covers about 20 to 30 square feet Mix : Cement : 15kgs Quartz/Silica powder or : 1:1 by volume Very fine sand : 25kgs Perma LTA : 2 litres Water : 2 to 3 litres This mortar is sufficient to fix 42 sq.ft. of tiles on existing mosaic with a 3mm thick bed.
