Matt Finish Stainless Steel is a No. 4 ground unidirectional finish obtained by polishing using oscillatory method with 120, 150, 180 and 240 grit abrasives in a state-of-the-art polishing line.   Typical Applications : Elevators, Escalators, Architectural applications - Interiors, Wall panels, Column Cladding, Kitchen Equipment, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Food, Beverage and Dairy Equipment, Indoor and Outdoor Furniture, Hospital equipment, Instrumentation and Electrical control panels, Baggage handling - Airport conveyors, Transport - Railways, Coaches, Malls, Shop front etc.

Short grit finish is called No. 4 or Satin, Long grit finish is called Hairline . Non-reflective nature absorbs surrounding colours and light. Most extensively used in Architectural and Elevator industry.

This finish results in a non-directional textured surface with a soft satin reflection and low reflectivity.This finish has an aesthetic appeal and enhances the surface properties of stainless steel.
