The Motwane make XWRM-10 is a dual channel, 10A rated, Transformer Winding Resistance Meter designed and developed after extensive research on challenges and requirements of testing of various Transformer winding resistance. The instrument has One Current channel and two resistance Channels. The instrument provides a large open circuit voltage of 42Volts, for fast charging of the highly inductive windings of transformers, to provide stable resistance values in minimum time. The XWRM-10 is intended to replace complex bridge set up with a single compact instrument. The XWRM-10 is based on 4-wire measurement method to measure low resistance accurately. The instrument is well protected against inductive kickbacks offered by the inductive windings and gives stable reading on various types of transformers. The XWRM-10 is user friendly and easy to operate. The test information is displayed along with real time data on large LCD display with backlit during TEST ON condition. The test cables are provided with specially designed industrial grade heavy duty crocodile clips for better grip and durable performance in harsh conditions. The instrument and the accessories come in trolley mounted heavy duty casings for easy transportation on the fields. Frequent testing of Transformers for winding resistances can yield huge revenue savings, because small increase of winding resistance, leads to huge full load losses.

The MOTWANE make secondary injection kit (MOT-SIK) has different models with range of output currents from 25A to 100A. HRC fuse protection is provided for over loads & control circuits. Bright LED indicators are provided for indicating input output status. The SIK comes with adequate air cooling systems. It is having one knob control to select the output current. Separate knob provided for coarse control. The SIK is generally called as Relay test set when used for testing of relays .This can be utilized for current injections during commissioning of protection Relay systems, testing of equipments like Ammeters, voltmeters , transducers, energy meters in power sub stations.25A with 3ph AC output with provision of DC output model is also available.

The MOTWANE make primary injection kit (MOT-PIK) has different models with range of output currents from 100A to 3000A.These are well protected with the provision of MCB against OVERLOAD than the rated current. The PIK comes with adequate cooling systems like airoil cooling depending upon the ratings. It is having one knob control to vary output current. The PIK can be utilized for high current injections during commissioning of protection systems, testing after major repairs equipment replacements in power sub stations.

The insulating oil provides the insulation under high voltage potentials. The di-electric strength of insulating oil measures the ability of the oil to withstand the electrical stresses without failures. Any severe reduction in the value of the di-electric, will no longer allow the insulating oil to perform its role & equipment is subjected to failure. The High Voltage Detector is a SAFETY DEVICE used to verify that the overhead line is not LIVE prior to earthing. It is suitable for 230V- 440KV supply lines. It is powered by a single 9V battery.
