The scope of this test is to evaluate the performance of the adhesive of these foils.
The exterior aspect, the adhesive peelability strength, and the resistance to shear were detected and compared in this test. The last characteristic is the most important for the underpacking foils used onto the sheet-fed and the high speed web offset presses.
The foils have to be repositionable, yet ensures a high shear and allows an easy removal from the cylinder without leaving residues onto it after use.
