Urja Store How Urja Store Works The thermic fluid is pumped up by P3, heats the cold water in PHE and drains down in the evening in D1. There is an electrical backup in D1 which comes on after it is filled. The drained thermic fluid is at 30 – 40 degrees C with residual heat left over from the day. The booster heats the fluid to 70 degrees again. P2 pumps this to PHE and cold keeps coming from P1. This being a neutral fluid, element finds it easier to top it without stress. As the water gets heated it rises and collects in the tank for distribution.
