Ring Main Unit (RMU) SafeRing is a SF6 insulated ring main unit for the secondary distribution network. SafeRing can be supplied in a number of different configurations suitable for most switching applications in 12/24 kV distribution networks. The RMU has a completely sealed system with a stainless steel tank containing all the live parts and switching functions.A sealed steel tank with constant atmospheric conditions ensures a high level of reliability as well as personnel safety and a virtually maintenance-free system. The RMU offers a choice of either a switch fuse combination or a circuit breaker with relay for protection of the transformer. SafeRing can be supplied with an integral remote control and monitoring unit

It is marked with switches (Circuit Breakers or Isolators or LBS) of three numbers. This unit finds use for two inputs that may be mechanical or electrical interlock. One outgoing is also provided in this unit to help in heavy load withstanding capacity. On demand, we can also provide this unit with one input that has two outgoings. Apart from these, this unit is also used for purposes such as redundancy feeder. This unit has capacity of 11KV.
