(Cymbopogon nardus) – It is steam distilled from the grass of Citronella. Citronella is grown in India, Sri Lanka and Java. The oil is pale yellow in color and has a strong, lemony and rosy odor. It is mainly used in insect repellents and also perfumery compounds, aromatherapy, room fresheners and soaps.
