3 core flat cables are manufactured keeping in mind the severe and difficult conditions in which they are required to perform. The individual conductors are made from bright electrolytic grade copper. The wires are drawn, annealed and bunched properly to ensure flexibility and uniform resistance. Each of the three copper conductors is insulated with a special PVC compound formulated, and the cores are laid up in flat parallel position. The outer sheath of the cable is made from a special grade of abrasion resistant PVC compound impervious to water, grease, oil, etc. The cables are now available with sequential marking, brand name, size and voltage grade.

Insulation : Bunched conductors are insulated with specially formulated, in-house developed PVC compound with high insulation resistance values. The insulation process is carried out on modern high speed extrusion lines with high accuracy, ensuring consistency in performance. Sheath : In case of multicore cables, the insulated cores are laid up to form the core assembly. The inner cores are coded for ease of identification as per National/International coding practices. The sheathing is provided with specially formulated PVC compound to facilitate not only ease in stripping but also to withstand mechanical abrasion while in use.PVC insulated single core and multicore sheathed cables are manufactured as per IS 694/1990, in sizes from 0.5 sq.mm. to 50 sq.mm. in single core and in sizes 0.5 sq.mm.to 4 sq.mm. upto 5 cores. These sizes carry ISI mark and are duly approved by FIA/TAC. The rest of the sizes also generally conform to IS: 694/1990.Cables as per BS 6004/1991 and BS: 6500/1990 are also available for export market. Special purpose cables in screened construction can also be made available.

Manufactured from bright-annealed 99.97% pure bare copper conductors these cables offer low conductor resistance.
