How to Use The surface should be cleaned and free from dirt and oil before using “TILE MALTA” The surface must be plumb before application of “TILE MALTA” adhesive. Mixing Take 25kg Bag of “TILE MALTA’ and add water 4.75 liter (@19%) and mix for minimum 3 minutes. Till homogeneous paste is obtained. Hand mixing is recommended for small quantities only. Mix as much quantity which can be used within 30 minutes. Tiling “TILE MALTA’ Paste is used in 3-6 mm thickness comb with notched trowel. Keep joints between two tiles using spacers. Start placing the tiles on the surface at tube tiled. Take the tile properlyto sure complete overage of the back side of tile and to eliminate the possibility of any air voids. Start filling joints only after 24hrs. Technical Detail Appearance — Powder + Color — Grey + Water/Powder Ratio — 1:3 * Pot life — 90 min. * Hard Dry — 24 hrs. Coverage 6-7 m7/3 m.m thickness. Precaution and Limitation For laying tiles on floor surface should be sufficiently hard and good condition. * Don't add excess water than recommended. + Always add powder to water and never add water to powder. * Never add cement and sand at site. * Itis advisable not to use on gypsum plaster, paint, wood and metal.

Hence saving in labour. No curing is required as Superior Tile On Tile Adhesive paste is self curing type. Surface to be tiled does not need hacking or mechanical key. Superior Tile On Tile Adhesive waterproofs the tiled surface. Excellent adhesion to smooth surface such as existing tiles, mosaic surface etc. Application : Mix the powder and water in the volumetric proportion of 2.5 to 3 volumes of powder to one volume of water. Thoroughly mix to form a creamy paste, leave it for 10 minutes for maturing & apply this paste to the surface to be tiled and press the tile in position firmly. An adhesion thickness of 3mm in enough to create a good bond. Allow tiles to set for 24 hours before grouting. Application method a. Apply adhesive on both the substrates with the help of brush or appropriate machine. B. Apply second coat (if required) after 5-10 minutes of first coat. C. Allow to evaporate the solvent for 5-10 minutes before bonding. Optimum bond strength can be achieved if open time is not more than 30 minutes. Open time is subjective and depends on environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and foreign particles in air. D. Immediately after bonding the substrates, apply adequate pressure on the component to achieve strong adhesion. E. In order to achieve optimum strength, allow components to store for at least 24 hours at ambient conditions. Precautions a. Polygrip plus 909 contain highly volatile and flammable solvents, therefore, appropriate care must be taken for ventilation during application. B. Product must not be exposed to naked flame and very hot objects.
