AAC Block Jointing Mortar – NXTFIX NXTFIX block jointing mortar is a semi-premix high-quality mortar for the jointing and bonding of AAC blocks. AAC block jointing mortar consists of cement, graded sand, and specialised polymers which combine to give superior strength, water retention and stability. It replaces the conventional method and material of jointing mortar, which requires a 12-18 mm thickness, with a revolutionary 2-3 mm joint thickness. NXTFIX Jointing Mortar only requires the addition of water before application to prepare the product for use, reducing the hassle of measuring and maintaining various individual elements to create a conventional mortar. HOW TO USE In Block masonry:- 3-4 mm thickness maintained in vertical & horizontal surface and In Brick work:-12 — 18 mm thickness should be maintained vertical & horizontal surface keeping continues check for the line and level. ‘THE BENEFITS OF “UNIFIX” - Special kind of chemicals and minerals are use for strong and long lasting joints. Low water absorption ensures water retention to eliminate problems of seepage. Prepacked mortar to ensure consistency at site. Prepacked mortar to reduce wastage and to maintain cleanliness at site. Row sand is having impurities like silt, clay, alkali etc. While UNIFIX is silt, clay and alkali free to ensure better quality. Better work ability increases workmanship of a mason. Water curing is not required after application. “UNIFIX” reduces dead weight of a wall which is recommended by ‘Disaster Management’. COVERAGE “UNIFIX” Gives coverage in A.A.C Block of approx. 130-140 sqf. With avg. thickness 3-4 mm. And block size 625 x 240 x 100 mm. The coverage area however will depend upon the quality and evenness of the substrate thickness of joints and size of masonry units. For best results proper tools for mixing and application is desirable it will result in higher coverage and saving in time and manpower. Technical Spec - As Per ASTM :C1660-10 Appearance: Free flow powder. Color: Grey. WIP Ratio: 25 — 30% by weight of mortar (workable). Self curing: Water curing is not required after application. Workability:Excellent Hard dry: 24 hrs. Split tensile strength of mortar: (0.51 (N/mm7). Packing: 50 kg. Laminated P-P Bags.
