We are offering clutch brake - 14.137. The clutch brake combination open type assembly consists of normally off type clutch & brake. The armature arrangement is a duplex disc type on a common splined hub, which moves axially along the splined hub.these units are less expensive compared to our type 14.80014.125 as the combination is provided without the enclosure, shaft & bearings and can be incorporated where space availability is critical. These combinations are used for dry applications only.

These Brakes are suitable for A.C. supply uptp 440V. & are available for a wide range of Drum Sizes from 100mm to 400mm dia. These brakes are available with rated torque ranging from 130Kg. for the smallest brake (100mm dia drum), upto 6900 Kg. cms. (400mm drum dia.) Construction Base & Brakes are Cast Iron high grade, Shoes are self-aligned, easily removable with fabric lining fixed with aluminum rivets. Magnet is solenoid type with laminated magnetic circuit having pole faces to ensure quiet operation. Operation Compression springs provide the necessary working pressure to apply the brake. Release is effected by a single phase electromagnet. A hand release lever is fitted to the lock brake in the "off" position when required.

The Clutch/Brake combination unit consists of an air actuated disc clutch & spring applied Disc Brake. Its compact design combined with its high thermal capacity & low air consumption makes it ideal for high speed, high cyclic, heavy-duty industrial applications. When cylinder is pressurized, the piston clamps the clutch disc to the hub which transmits the torque to the shaft.
