Gold plating is done on quartz tube over 180°. These heaters reflect the radiant energy through the opening area only, improving element efficiency by as much as 20% compare to without gold plating heater. Energy cost savings are realized. Reflectors are often not needed. Surrounding work area tempratures are cooler. These heaters are also available with a without gold plating.
