These standards are furnished in a range of viscosities and temperatures which are of particular interest in asphalt viscosity determinations and the determination of the viscosities of polymers.

Liquid inks, paints, varnish and surface coatings and other chemicals are supplied in "concentrated" form. The user needs to reduce or tally the thickness to their required level (by use of reducer or solvents) i.e to suit their requirement. Finally standardize these solutions by using B-4 Cup viscosity cup and measure the reading in seconds i.e time taken pass through the cup.

Viscosity cup as per IS 3944 1966 standard. The process of flow through an orifice is used as a relative measurement and classification of viscosity. Used for measuring the consistency of paints, varnishes and other similar products. Different orifice sizes are available (No. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6). Optional stand for holding the viscometer cup.
